Thanks for that, just taken switch out and brake lights working when i play with switch. doesnt seem to be very secure when in position on the brake pedal...i guess i will have to go to vw and get myself a new switch as the end of this switch seems slightly warn

Hi, i have a 96 ford galaxy aspen and i have noticed that the brake lights dont work all the time ...bulbs etc are fine, i ave to press the brake pedal and slightly release then press again for them to work...someone mentioned a switch on the brake pedal?? is it easy to get to??? any advise would be greatly appreciated
