  1. Hi Brian H, It's the dashboard light that stays on, that's why I am trying to locate the sensor itself so I can stop it. I've looked at the wires in the right hand pillar boot and they seem ok, can't see any broken ones......
  2. Oh! Thanks, I'll check it out this morning. I know lots of my door wires are cracked and broken, just trying to keep going until I can get back to my trusted garage man! I've not been able to find any diagrams or info about where these switches/sensors are, so would still appreciate some clues if anyone else out there knows their location!
  3. Help! how do I disable the tailgate door ajar switch on my 1998 Galaxy TDI Ghia. I need to know where it is as well. After a frost, lots of electrical things went haywire but the tailgate open light now stays on even when no key in the ignition and the battery is draining down. Help!!
  4. Brilliant - thanks, I'm enjoying driving the Galaxy - I can finally see over the hedge!
  5. The dash panel indicators for the rear lights have started to stay on when I start the engine on my S reg 1.9TDI galaxy, but they go out as soon as I touch the brake pedal. Any ideas as to what this may mean? Should I be worried?
