A Subject Close To Your Heart If You Have Daughters.
KellyJo replied to mumof4's topic in Debating forum
Maz, Luckily we have only had the dreaded nits once, about 6 mths ago. I was fortunate to catch it very early on as i had been forewarned by our daughters friend's mum that they were lurking in the classroom! I combed every day for a week and used 'lyclear' once and thankfully they were eradicated and haven't shown their ugly faces since! Just as a precaution we made her go to school with hair tied back until she decided she would rather have it cut shorter. I was not impressed by the school though who took weeks to put up posters in classrooms to bring it to the attention of parents, by which time of course it was around the whole school, did feel sorry for the teachers though, must be awful working closely with kids that you know have them had to laugh when her teacher suddenly started wearing her hair up!! Now i just check weekly which she doesn't mind - must be a nightmare with three though, don't envy you that task!!! Got to go and have a good scratch now, feel itchy just thinking about it ^_^ kj xx -
For every negative event in life, something positive is lurking around the corner... I hope it doesn't take too long to arrive! kjxx

And in our defence ...... Men are like.....Placemats. They only show up when there's food on the table. Men are like.....Mascara. They usually run at the first sign of emotion. Men are like.....Bike helmets. Handy in an emergency, but otherwise they just look silly. Men are like.....Government bonds. They take so long to mature. Men are like.....Parking spots. The good ones are taken, and the rest are too small. Men are like.....Copiers. You need them for reproduction, but that's about it. Men are like.....Lava lamps. Fun to look at, but not all that bright. Men are like.....Bank accounts. Without a lot of money, they don't generate much interest. Men are like.....High heels. They're easy to walk on once you get the hang of it. Men are like.....Bananas. The older they get, the less firm they are. ;) :D

Have now got our family tent and spent a couple of interesting hours erecting it (a few colourful words included due to very dodgy instructions!). Now need to go and get bedding, cooking gear etc and would be glad to get some advice from the more experienced family campers out there as to what you consider essential (apart from the beer) and what might be really useful to take out with us but we wouldn't necessarily think to buy. Our youngest is only 18 months so not sure whether to take travel cot or buy one of those 'baby' sleeping bags, any advice gladly received, thanks. Oh yeah, i'd be very grateful for any advice on how to stop 'im indoors moaning the whole time spent in the great outdoors aswell  Kellyjo xx

Changing The Rear Driver-side Brake Bulb

not a new problem -
Yes its a known problem with compatibility issus between fuel sender and instrument pod. Ford garage tried 2 instrumentation pods under waranty (36 months ago) before FORD told told them to wait for a fix. See thread here earlier thread The Fix came out on the 4th April 2005 (tell your garage to look at their ...bulletins) of course the car is now out of warranty and when the garage first approached Ford they said they wouldn't pay a penny!!!! Eventually after faxing all the relevant paper work showing that Ford themselves stopped the work they agreed to pay 80% leaving us with a bill of
