Hi all, saw in the local papers that manufacturers claims to mpg are unachievable

In my galaxy 2.0tdi with 4 people and luggage i can never get more than 45 mpg and extra urban is never greater than 43 mpg

I thought i would get more mpg on a long run,

hello i have an 07 1.8tdci and 4 up with luggage i get over 45 mpg on the motorway (if the comp is to be believed)but on 3/4 (just over 11 gallons) of a tank i get over 500 miles combined. on our recent camping trip to cornwall from sunny leicester we managed over 650 miles on a tank of fuel. which compared to my 1.8 focus which i was proud of doing over 30 mpg is amazing. for a laden mpv with tent and family and massive tent and family dog thats a impressive consumption. my only tip is changing the air filter regularly to keep consumption figures.

Just wondered.......................If I aquired the steering wheel bits and bobs, could cruise control be retro fitted to a mk111 Galaxy? I've done it before on a Vauxhall Astra, and the wiring is already there in the loom. I am thinking this is done to save having umpteen different looms and that the wiring for most, (if not all) electrical extra's, is already there in all cars. The Astra just needed a clutch switch, stalk, and the connector on the end of the wire digging out from inside the loom, then taking to the dealers to be configured. Would a Ford be the same? Is it worth it?

Hello all, i am having a few problems with my 2007 mk3 galaxy. where would i get to look at a schematic wiring diagram to attempt to trace the faults ?

i have contacted Haynes to buy a manual, but only have to wait 18months for them to write it. mmmmm not long now then ! any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you Darryl

there isnt a key hole on a mk 3 ! do you mean mk 2 ?

hi all, just joined this forum specifically to find out about jammed tailgates. only had our '07 galaxy for a few weeks and can't get in the boot. Booked in to an indy garage to have the motor replaced under warranty (and any other components involved that are covered while they're at it. Problem has ocurred a couple of times with one of the rear passenger doors too and I have 56 plate transit minibus that the side door won't lock sometimes... something Ford not telling us?

i purchased my 07 mk3 2 weeks ago and went to open tailgate to let dog in and all you hear is a faint click?

Hello, sorry if this a common subject, but how do you program the remote and the transponder on a new shape galaxy (2007) with the flat key. I have had lots of fords previously and managed to recode all of those but this one is beating me. Thanks in anticipation Darryl

I have managed to get the remote control to work using some useful information from this forum, but i am still unable to clone the transponder. the car will not recognise the transponder.

any ideas or have i got to shell out
