No. I fitted the motor and it does only run in one direction. So happy days !! (so fail safe) Took a peek inside the new module and this one has the part numbers on the component, so I'll try and fix the old one if I can. I think one of the fet is blown. Question is how do you protect the device from getting wet again. Seal it up or will this have the opposite effect of trapping moisture ?? Question 2. If the motor is 12V D.C and the incoming is 12V.
