My 2002 Galaxy has the same crunch in 2nd and 3rd going up the gears. Going for an oil change this week after reading the above posts. Just had the sump shield (undertray) off earlier. I've got the tamper proof drain and fill plugs also. Quick search on ebay and Draper do the socket, part number 63476, cost £5.99 + P&P. I'll let you know the result. Fingers crossed its the same as MIREZ!!!!! :( Sourced the oil through Ford - got the VAT knocked off so not too bad a price - £15.50 / litre.
