Didnt get any replies on this but turned out to be solder in relay 30 had broken. Re-soldered and working fine although got a new relay on its way also. Hope it helps someone!

Just solved anidentical issue on my 98 petrol. Ihave got a relay being sent to me but guy in garage just re-soldered the old one and its working fine. Good luck.

I got mine from Ebay but they were ford originals.Lucky to find them though as most on ebay are aftermarket. The test I used was to simple turn your wheel on full lock and grab the anti roll link and push and pull.If there is the slightest of give then thats the problem. The most difficult part was getting the old one of.Its a double handed job (2 spanners or spanner and socket but acsses is difficult). When putting the new ones on I needed someone to sit on bonnet so suspension lowered far enough to attach both ends of link. There are more detailed instructions on fitting on here however! Hi there Desperate for any advise here. I have a 1998 gal petrol 2.0 and recently it has started struggling with start.Turning over is always good but just doesnt want to start. I have noticed the led on drivers door flashes while I am trying to start it. Finally yesterday I got stuck outside local mcdonalds and it just wont start at all. I towed it back home as my wife needed to be in Birmingham that evening for work (we live in S.Wales) - this was a lovely journey for me which I have to do again when she finishes work friday. I am using mother in laws car at present asshe doesnt need it but come next week I wont have that luxury. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I have a manual control (knobs). The heat doesnt change weather I switch to air con or standard blower.Thanks

Hi there New to this site - only just purchased a 99 petrol gal)(2.0) and it has a few niggles I need to try to sort. Anti roll links - sorted them myself - stopped the massive knocking. Air bag warning light also on - this is third on list! This post is to ask advise on Air Con/blower.Only with the now warm weather have I noticed it - air comes out warm no matter what setting. I have noticed that its slightly cooler coming out of back blower. Can anyone advise what the cause may be before I take to a garage? Many thanks in advance and may I say what a great forum this is!
