Hi Everyone After spending an hour scouring my 2009 Galaxy Ghia Diesel for the OBD II port , I have now come indoors to have a cup of tea and a good sulk . Cant find it anywhere . I have been all over the passenger side and fuseboxes and am scratching my head . Anyone know where they have hidden the port on the late Galaxy's .??? Thanks in advance

Hi all I have a 2009 Ford Galaxy Ghia and I have removed the standard Sony DAB unit to fit a multimedia system . All is fine except I have awful FM/MW radio reception on the replacement unit . I have been doing a little digging and it appears that the Sony dab unit has one standard flat type din aerial connector and I think what is a Fakra connector as well . Is the Fakra connector the true aerial ? It is very confusing as there are a lot of different adaptors and powered connectors on ebay all saying they are for ford Galaxy 2009 and my head is buzzing . Anyone done this type of upgrade before and if so which aerial lead from the harness do I need to use and do I need one of these powered aerial adaptors as it seems that changing the head unit has isolated the powered amp for the aerial . Confused ????? not as much as me I can assure you . Any advice would be most gratefully received .

i have a 2009 galaxy ghia and want to put one of the hong kong multimedia systems advertised on ebay . have a look at item number 120556835553 on ebay and thats what i want to fit . i have found loads of them but none say they are for the galaxy but the smax , focus etc . the size and shape look the same and i really do want one of these . has anyone fitted one of these or have any suggestions where to get one that will work with my galaxy . its just such a good deal with it having gps , digital tv etc but im very reticent to buy one in case it doesnt work with my galaxy . i really would appreciate any advice here or maybe someone has already fitted one of these and has a contact where i can get one . thanks in advance and please someone help . dave
