  1. Any luck? mine also does this and havent managed to pin point it either.
  2. Hi ggobin, Did the job this morning and i have to say it really was a nice straight forward job to do. I didnt rush (drinking lots of coffee inbetween) and it took me about 2 and half hours, but could have done it in 2 really. Just follow mirrez post and you wont go far wrong. Couple blocks of wood under the tyres meant i was able to do the job without some one having to step on the brakes for me, obviousley i didnt have the car jacked up that high of the ground. So all in all fairly easy to do if you have the right tools. Good luck.
  3. Bugger that was lucky! the new parts got ordered sunday night, arrived thursday and today whilst the other half was out doing the shopping they stripped and had no drive. Pulling out of a junction on to a busy road, luckily she made it across the road and got recovered by father inlaw. So car home and i know what will be doing tomorrow. So thanks for this post, its saved me a lot more money.
  4. Ok thanks very much. Dont suppose you know the size of the of the allen bolt? thanks in advance.
  5. Hi, just about to order these parts from poland as mine is very sloppy and not far off shearing i think, on just over one hundred thousand miles. Was wondering if anyone could help me with what greese i should be using when reasembling? Also what the torque of the allen bolt on the gearbox stub, and the torque bolts on the half shaft would be? Cheers.
  6. Hi, that sounds like a really good idea chris. would like to do that to mine, think that would be really useful for the winter. I dont suppose you could tell me where you got the kit from and how much for please and was it difficult to fit? thanks.
