  1. I rang the local fraud dealer and gave them the vin no. and it is indeed medium steel blue! Top Chap Doa2 Found it! It was completely covered in grime so was impossible to see without prior knowledge. Thanks ChromeDome Quick visit to Halfords for a "stone chip & scratch repair system" and the colour match is superb and that's without putting the lacquer coat on! Nice one Guys
  2. Just noticed it looks as if i've got a couple of inches of water inside my headlamps! It must be a trick of the light coz there isn't. I won't be doing any more photies tonight because a couple walking their dog have just witnessed one of their neighbours photographing his car in his PJ's and dressing gown at 10.30pm. Thanks for the replies so far guys. I'll have another dekko tomorrow Ned
  3. Can't see it under the bonnet, just some plates about refrigerant etc.... http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h187/biolizard131/2006_0319Image0022.jpg
  4. Here goes http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h187/biolizard131/2006_0319Image0019.jpg
  5. Just had another look, there's deffo nothing there except an airbag sticker. Hang on a bit, i'll get the Digi camera out.
  6. It had a Private reg on til last week when those nice people at the DVLA gave it a new one. Am i right in looking at the pillar that separates the passenger side doors? If it's not there then where is it? I can see the No. that shows through the windscreen on the passenger side, would that do?
  7. I'm putting my Gal up for sale this week but i want to touch up some minor scratches, trundles off to Halfords only to find i didn't know which exact colour i need, there's loads of blue's!!! Have looked on the passenger side B pillar but all i can find is an airbag sticker! Am i looking in the right place?, is the B pillar the one that separates the front & rear doors? It's a 2000 W plate MK1 Confused.com
  8. Do you mean the pollen filter? If so do a search for it, been covered before.
  9. Lots!
  10. Rear seats that you can remove/fold flat with just one touch and without getting a hernia.
  11. Maybe a previous owner had them changed (if your Gal had a previous owner of course) and they're not the standard size. What does the manual say?
  12. Did mine today, got the temp down to 9 degrees from 14. I'm a bit disappointed with the fan speed/power though. On full blast (4) it sounded like a Harrier jump jet under the dash but was only pushing out enough to ruffle my Wife's fringe (yes i've spelt it right!!). I've also got a Toyota Picnic which i only had to put 1/4 can in to get the temp down to 5 Degrees (8 years old and A/C never touched) and the fan blew my temp gauge to the middle row of seats. Is the fan in the Gal usually so crap and can i do anything about it?
  13. Can you chip a 2.3 zetec by any chance?
  14. Should be either side of the ashtray in front of the gearstick. Try this post for speaker grills. http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...wtopic=4984&hl=
  15. Mk1 has a digital clock above the rear view mirror. Mk2 has analogue clock on the top of the dash. Mine is a 2000 X reg Mk1 2.3 Zetec and doesn't have rear parking sensors but you can get them here Rear parking sensors
