Once again there is always someone out there to help, thanks alot i changed the sender yesterday and it took about 30min and the gauge is working fine now, thanks for all the advise,

Hi thanks for that, I didnt know if they had a panel in the inner wing like the focus that you can remove to get access, ive tryed it from top and bottom and it looks like its just going to be a pig to do, never mind thaks again

Hi i have a 1.9 TDI on a 52 plate, is there a easy way of getting access to the temp sender at the rear of the engine its held in with a clip but you cant see it, maybe ford just made it hard to do lol, im changing mine as it cant seem to make up its mind how hot the engine is, thanks. Jim
