I have a T (1999) Galaxy. How can I be deffinatly be sure that the car has the capability of remote central locking, as I don't want to waste money buying a key then finding out that I can't programme it. Thanks

It was mentioned previously.....although admitedly not answered. I was told by the Ford dealer that it would have remote locking but from reading the posts here I now have some doubts. How would I confirm for definate whether the car has remote locking capability? thanks

Hi Kev, thanks for that I have found the little chips. Will the remote automatically work once the chip is inserted?

Kev, thanks for the info. I have two existing keys, one plain and one that should have a light in it. Where do I find the transponder chip? And how do I program the transponder? Regards Marcus
