went to buy galaxy last week radio flashing for code went back to pick car up on weds radio wont power up at all any suggestions

just bought 1998 2l gxl petrol was below red put 10l in left work 1.30 this morn on 34 miles then started to do run out of petrol dance 1mile down road, managed to make it home but bit baffled any suggestions
