yes it is as i have done the same the belt is sold as the non ac galaxy mine is a 2.3 1997 ghia x mine had not siezed the pully fell off been looking for a s/h pully cheep

it is the drain from the sunroof if you have one failing that the cowling around the bulkhead is not seated properly and the water is draining back also check the bulkhead drains

Vagcom should be able to reset the airbag light. The port is under the ashtray....take out ashtray and holder. cheers everybody done job worked perfect where can i get the code refrence guide

i have a 2.3 ghia x 1998 the cruse control don't work so i have been through the pipework seems fine no leaks i have checked the switches at the pedals they are fine also the stalk and switch cant seem to find the ecm module tested the pump no power to it cant find the fuse either anybody had the same problem and what is the fix pleeeeeease

i know its not rocket science but if you are at least 1 tooth out on the timing it wont start i had this problem on a 1.9tdi 2000 it baffeled me for weeks it would start on easystart but not on its own then i spoke to a pump mechanic and he said the same so i took it all apart as it is a pain the belt and timed it spot on and brummmmmmm it started first go hope this helps

anybody out there know if the vag will reset the airbag light or is ther another bit of eqipment that will do this on a 97 2.3 ford galaxy petrol ghia x manual need service light reset to

i know this must peeve people off but could someone please tell me if the airbag light can be reset as i had the bat off for a while and when i replaced the bat the light came on checked everything incl click spring and all the connections to the airbag and the loom will a vag do a reset if so where is the port to plug it in doooooooooh
