Hi there!! Does any one know how to fit a towingbar on Galaxy 1996(N-reg)

Hi!! i have a N reg galxy 1996...2L petrol.. the car start up fine but when i move the steering vhell the rev runs up to 3-4000 RPM..slowly the rev goes down aprox 5 mins than if i move the whell again everything start again.any ideea please before the mechanics start ripping my pocket money offffff ......many thanks.
