  1. Second hand original Ford Load Barrier Retention Net for the Galaxy Mk III (2006->). In mint condition, with all original parts, including instructions with templates. The net has been used, but the fitting kit has not (my Galaxy already had the fittings in place). This can be fitted behind the front seats and / or behind the middle row of seats. It is robustly made and is an effective way of stopping luggage decapitating your children. Once the fittings are in the car it takes 2 minutes to install or remove the net for a journey. The net has a built-in flap surrounded by Velcro to enable the middle seat safety belt to be used. The net is kept in shape by stout steel bars that lock into shape. It folds down nicely for storing - roughly 70cm x 12cm x 8cm The kit weighs 3.7 kg, so postage will be £5 to £10 depending on the courier and the speed of delivery. Alternatively it can be collected from Newbury or Staines (home, work). Feel free to ask questions. Tel: 07767-600-943 Thanks for looking, Phil.
  2. Hi Peter, Here are some pictures of the load protection net, and what comes with it. Cheers, Phil.
  3. Hi Peter, I bought the Ford part along my Mk III from the dealer. The net is very stout and will definitely stop cargo in the rear flying forwards. I had a Volvo V70 before my Galaxy, which had a safety net built into the rear bench. I didn't want to carry luggage behind my young kids without a net. The net comprises 2 pairs of jointed stout chrome plated metal rods: one pair for the top (just under the roof) and one just above the floor. When you open the joint up, the rods lock into a straight line - there is a button to release the lock. The top rod slots into 2 recesses either side of the roof. From the lower rod there is a seat belt type strap and buckle at each end. At the bottom of each belt there is a plastic covered metal hook which goes through a metal loop on the floor, either side of the middle row of seats. It takes about 2 minutes to fit (or remove) and tensions up nicely. There is even a hole through which the middle seat belt can fit. There is a cover for the hole which is surrounded by Velcro. I have just sold my Galaxy so I am looking to sell my net, which is in perfect condition. I'll put an ad in the classifieds section, along with photos. Cheers, Phil.
