Did you ever find a cure? - I believe I have the same problem - I have changed the wiper blades but the problem actually appeared to get worse. My problem is only on the Drivers side wiper blade. At first I though it was because it was hitting the edge of the window but closer inspection showed this was not the case it is just the noise generated by changing direction. Any ideas?
