Hi All, I have a few issues with my 04 1.9tdi 130. I have noticed that there is no turbo "thrust" even in 1st & 2nd gear. It still performs well but I am not sure how much "thrust" I should feel. Also when towing, there is a smell of burning oil. I have noticed that there seems to be oil on the intercooler pipe. I would have thought if the intercooler had gone, then I would hear a whistle (I am not). Someone also suggested it could be the "Transducer"? Any ideas?? Cheers Ade

Hi all, I have 2 issues with my 04 tdi Ghia. 1) No air through the windscreen vents 2) No cold air from the air con. On the 2nd issue, I have done the following. Re-gassed - New air con pump (that cured it for a while)-had specialist check for leak (he thinks it is the condensor, but I seem to think I have seen on here somewhere that there is a filter on the condensor?? Any help is muchly appreciated Thanks. Ade

I feel silly now!!!! You were right, I had turned the stereo off. It obviously allows it to stay on for a few minutes before shutting down. Thanks for your help

Hi all, I have a 2004 Ghia "elegance" with the rear media. Whilst travelling today in silence (the kids were watching a DVD) it suddenly died. We now have no power to it at all. Any ideas??

A chap at work had a pump that he had taken off his Corrado. Same part number, fitted & working. Cool as!!!

Thanks for the info. I guess I just struck lucky then!! I took it in part exchange at the Mercedes garage I work for and bought it for my wife. It is a lovely thing and was a demo at the local Ford garage for the first 3 months of it's life then sold to a "man of the cloth" (honestly) who I took it in from. Happy days!!

I guess you are spot on as I have leather & media as well. They are 17" and are branded Ford. It just seems odd that I work in the motor trade and have never seen them before??

I thought that might be the case, I have just never seen them before. Is there any difference between the 03 & 04 model, it's just that I have noticed a few adverts for parts showing 00-03 model? Thanks for your help though

Hi, I have just purchased a Galaxy 04 130 Ghia. The alloys on it are branded "ford" but I havent seen them on any other. Does anyone know what or where they came from?? Also, what is the difference between an 03 model and an 04?? Mine states March 04 reg, but 03 build?? Ta ade

I know I have seen the answer to this on here somewhere, but can I find it?????????? How do I get the rear DVD system to play it's sound through the stereo speakers. I have an 04 Ghia if that makes any odds

We have overfilled it!! Although that isnt the reason for not working as we tried the smaller amount first. I cant hear any "click" although the pulley is spinning freely??

Hi All, A problem with the air con. Firstly, how do I determine wether I have rear air conditioning?? I have vents under the 2nd row of seats, but none in the roof. I had it re-gassed yesterday, but it is still not cold. The technician said it could either be the pump or the control unit. With the engine running, you can see the pump spinning, but none of the pipes are cold. He therefore suggests that the pump is at fault, but I would like to be as sure as possible before throwing that sort of money at it. btw it is an 04 TDi 130 Ghia Thanks in anticipation Ade

As title suggests, I am after a handbook for my 04 plate Ghia TDi (if that makes any difference). I have the wallet, service books and audio guide, it is purely the handbook I am after. Ta Ade
