  1. Hello guys, thought I would ask for some help. Recently bought 54 plate Galaxy which comes with dvd player. One screen only works for a few seconds then goes black. It was swapped with the working screen and does the same. My questions are 1)is there anywhere to buy a replacement, 2)will the MB8000 take a universial headrest screen? I do hope somone is able to help or point me in the right direction. Cheers
  2. Checked the vanity lights, no sign of creaking, the interior lights are all off, looked in last night. Next step to check altenator, (scuse spelling). Hope to have some news soon.
  3. We have X reg mk2 Galaxy, which left standing for 3 days has a flat battery! This is not the first time that this has happened. We (my husband) had to jump start the car numerous times during the cold spell, which has resulted in the CD changer not working and we can't get our CD's out. So replaced the battery, thought our problems were solved. NOT, hubby fixed the passenger window, found 1 wire broken another frayed. (Found out how to do it from this brilliant forum). Could this have been the cause, NO. Hubby replaced the passenger door mirror, (which i broke off) had to wire it in, not sure if it has ben done correctly) but the mirror moves. There was a mobile phone in the car once, father in-law removed the glove comparment bulb, he had the car before us and it went flat on him too. we have removed the CD changer. Can any one out there offer us some help, I have read on another forum that the mobile phone can drain a battery, if this is possible, how do we (my husband) go about removing it? Thanking you all in advance.
