The display on my air con control flashes for about 5 seconds before reverting to normal. From previous posts on this group this indicates a fault and needs a diagnostic. Does anyone know where i can get this done in the Northamptonshire area? We just changed the MAF (revitalised the vehicle) and didn't notice the problem before. Our local garage could do the check but they can't get hold of the software for the Galaxy (99 Tdi)

Hi can anyone recommend somewhere to get a fault diagnosed on a 1.9ti (V reg) in the Northamptonshire area? Our local (non Ford) garage has the test gear but not the software for the Galaxy and won't look at it without a diagnostic. We have the power sudden power loss above 3000 rpm problem which could be the wastewasher or the MAF (according to this forum :-) ) So if anyone knows anyone who could check the wastewasher and MAF or run a diagnotic without charging an arm and a leg, please let me know.
