Cross posted from "dealer reliabilty" so apologies Right I'm off again..............same subject, same ####y dealership I should have learned my lesson car back from 60000 mile sevice, windscreen wiper hanging off, car badly cleaned, screen wash bottle complaining of being empty and so on My quick question is "if the oil is changed..................how long till the oil goes black and looks used. I ask as they claim the oil has been changed, but on checking the level the oil on the dipstick is very dark and dirty looking. I'm tempted to confront the dealers but I could do with really knowing if the oil's been changed. Many thanks in advance Dick

Just returned to this post as I'd calmed down and put it out of my mind when the wife says that since the cars been serviced there is a "rear stop light warning". the "NEW"

I've got a 2010 Galaxy 2.0 TDI as a motability vehicle, so it's serviced by the main dealer at no cost to me. BUT Just had the second service {26000 miles} the bill included front windscreen wipers £51.63 Rear wiper £14.42 N/S Brake light £33.32 screen wash solvent £1.19 WELL Do Ford wiper blades really only last 9 months 13000 miles ? as this is the third set Rear blades looks to be unchanged Do Fords use solid gold bulbs and as for screen wash...................It was full to the brim when it went in for service as a motabilty vehicle I don't pay these bills but...............WTF

We've had a 2.0tdi Zetec for 6 months, done just under 10000 miles to date with no problems The air con is pants and if all the doors and windows are shut the tailgate seems to not always shut first time but on the other hand The trip computer says 40 mpg and it gets a hard life and driven reasonably hard I know it's a short time but I'm happy with it ! hope yours is a good one we bought a zetec as we test drove a new ghia with the full length sunroof and all of the stupid roof pockets rattled and squeaked and one even popped open

I thought the air con in our 10 plate 2.0lTDI was broken as it was so bad and took it back to the dealers. They checked it and tell me it's working fine. So apparently they are just BAD my 11 year old zafira air con works better and has never been "regassed" etc pretty poor I thought
