I had this on my old bmw e36. Turned out to be air in the system. I found whilst sitting in it on a cold day watching some trackday racing it was blowing cold. However if i revved it slightly say 500rpm more it started to get warmer inside. I then bled a small amount of air out of the system and all fixed. Maybe worth a shot!!! thanks for your kind reply its a 2.8v6 1997 p reg sliver ghia x 5 door manual petrol hope that helps
