if you are in econ mode the compressor will not run just hot air with no cooling or de humidty also you cant tell how much is in the system untill you take it out and weight it back in cheers dave Thanks, I've had the system drained an refilled. The control unit will switch to aircon but won't push out cold air

Hi All, I have a problem with the air con unit inasmuch that it will only work blowing hot air on econ. The unit flashes on power up. I've had a mobile chap to look at the system. Advised that there are no leaks and the system as been regassed. To try and find the problem we took a live feed from another source direct to the compressor. The compressor works and cold air was pumped into the cabin. I am assuming that the problem is between the control unit and the compressor or some sort of switch/valve. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks
