Hi there, I have just had this issue on my '02 / 52 Tdi. It is caused by a Injector wiring harness fault. If you put it on a diagnostics machine it will give you an injector interuption fault code. If you replace the harness it will cure the problem. I had to do a bit of digging but the first place to start is to call your local ford dealer, give them your chassis no. and get the part no. they quote for the harness. (Hopefully it should be :- 1218441). Ford normally quote
