  1. Whichever it is called the point is good one, I sometimes have to put it into gear and take back out again a few times to get the old Gal started. Gamedave
  2. Clicky My similarly aged Galaxy also failed on this point. In my case it turned out to be a loose connection into the instrument cluster which I managed to fudge by taping the connector in place. Regards Gamedave
  3. Thanks for that, the fuse checks out. The problem seems to be a loose connection on the speedo cluster as I can now get it to work itermittently. Gonna have to try and find what and where is causing this problem now.
  4. Hi Guys, The old Gal has just failed the MOT on the ABS warning light being inoperative. I have had a look at all the fuses I can find, and had the cluster out and cleaned the connectors and looked to see if there was a bulb I could replace with no luck so far. A search of the site has turned up nothing that I can see as most problems seem to relate to ABS light staying on. There is mentioned on here a fuse 28 but my fuse board only numbers the fuses to 22. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Gamedave
  5. Thanks alot Justice prompt and correct. Most appreciated. Gamedave
  6. Hi guys, I know that you don't like to give out the Radio codes willy nilly to us newbies but I have made good use of the search engine on here and have not needd to post too much on here, but can anyone help out with radio code on my 2007 Stereo as I have just blown the fuse for the stereo whilst replacing the brake light switch (using the info from this very helpful site) and as the car was bought second hand with no manuals I don't have the code. Thanks in anticipation. Gamedave
  7. Not really much help I'm afraid, but I have the same problem with my trip comp and was told the cpu had gone and would cost
