Glowplug light flashing is an indication of an ECU fault code, there could be any number of reasons so best get the fault codes read but the usual two are immobiliser and brake light switch problems HI WHERE CAN I FIND FAULT CODES? IMMOBILIZER IS THAT WORKIN OFF THE KEY ON THESE? SAME AS MY FIESTA. IM WANTIN TO GET THE THING FIXED AND OFF MY DRIVE LOL. IF U KNOW ANYONE

I have a ford galaxy glx 1.9L I bought it off a friend after he thought he ran it out of diesel so I thought I only needed to bleed it so just gave it a go after filling her up and changing and filling the filter. I have had it starterd 3 times now but after a few minutes it cuts out (thats when it will start). and when started I have a warning light flashing its the light shaped like a coil/spring. Im thinking the problem is nothing to do with it running out of diesel & electrical. has anyone on here had same problem? or has got an idea what the problem can be?. any advice very much appreciated as Im really not used to diesels. and really want to get this car running. it sounds fine when running but just has that light flashing and then cuts off instantly.
