  1. Sounds like air is getting into your fuel system - it often can be the throttle control casing.
  2. Hi, I also have had this problem, the first time with Windscreen wipes came on and failed to stop even with the car parked and locked. The dealer said the problem was down to water getting into the alarm siren and is a known problem. The warning messaged occurred again and a new siren were fitted a couple of months later but this last time apparently moisture getting into a connector rather than a new siren. The long term solution seems to be to avoid water, it shouldn't be too hard to avoid any rain or puddles in this country!
