Thanks for replying/adding. I'm DIY this job and have the wheel arch plastic cover off but dont see any "plastic drain cover with a rubber flap (which it supposed to act as a one way valve)" Maybe it is missing and thats why I'm getting the leak.

Thanks for the information. Can anyone recommend someone who knows how to solve this water in the footwell problem near York/ Doncaster? I'm on holiday here from Australia and bought a V reg Galaxy so no tools.
