i have just bought a galaxy 2.0l glx on an N reg starting from cold is hard going wont tick over the as is gets warmer another fault starts after reving the engine it will drop to 800 rpm then go up to 1200 a etc etc a few time then settle then if you drive it it will and come to a stop it will rev up to 2500rpm and stay there for a bit maybe sometime 3000 and then drop and is impossable to when trying to hold the revs at a certain lvl i.e 2000 it will wonder all over the place maybe high and sometimes lower depending on its mood

had exactly the same problem today if you look in the grill just to ther right of the ford badge and up you can see the head of a 10mm bolt undo that the yank the bonnet up and in the gap you will see the catch now get a long screw driver in and hook the catch off then the bonnet will open
