Having searched the forum and the web, I come here looking for help/advice. When the key is turned in the ignition, the middle panel in the cluster lights up, but there is no response from any of the dials. No fuel or temp indication. Have taken out the cluster and checked the red connector, have checked the earth inside the connector, which seems fine. Cleaned the contacts that were available, checked for bad soldering etc. When the cluster is connected to the cable, and the key is turned no response, milage counter is looking normal and will count the miles that the car drives. However when you disconnect the cable ( while the power is ON ) and reconnect this cable the temp and fuel gauge will respond?? Turning the key back to OFF and back on, the earlier response is gone again ?? Any help/advice or other suggestions would be welcome. thanks PS: car: Ford Galaxy 1.9 TDi Zetec build 2000
