Thanks Big Kev - Wife took car out today - It's clonking! Oh God I thought, I'm sure I did everything right - I did!! Thought I'd check strut tops and re- tighten. Now where did I put the Mole Grips??? Ah yes still attached to the other strut - hence the clonking! Lesson learnt - Check your tools when you finish!
