Well nearly one week of ownership and I've got to admit I'm glad I got my Galaxy. Luck was with as I had a month on the FORD warranty so I had a problem with the alarm due to water ingress fixed, the child lock fixed and the temperature gauge checked which was my main concern. It turns out the temperature gauge is fine I'm surprised but hey. :huh:

Hi, I've just bought a 56 plate 1.8tdci ghia and have a similar problem.The temperature gauge seems to take a long time to move but when it does it seems to be ok. My worry is if it's giving a false reading. I've left the engine running for 20mins and it didn't move even though the radiator fan kicked in. When driving it can take 10 to 15mins before it begins to move then seems ok.
