  1. Battery seems to keeping a good charge, Its turning over nicely just not firing first time like it use to
  2. Seeing as you are struggling with emissions at MOT time , and starting problems i would get a lambda sensor , emission failures are usually caused by a knackered Lambda on a 2.3 . But still change the plugs or at least check them to see how well they look Thanks for the reply. Mot tester reckon iI needed a new cat, had the a new one fitted approx 3 years ago a porcelain one apparently to get it through last couple of mot's they have put in a fuel additive and booted it as it was failing test on fast idle. Is the lambda sensor difficult to replace?
  3. Hi new to the forum Just wondering I have a Galaxy 2.3 glx on a t plate just recently it has been a pain to start in the morning, usually it started first time but lately 2nd or 3rd turn of the key. Will a change of the spark plugs cure my problem, being an older car i have not had it seviced for years stupid i know. And are they hard to put in worried about the coil packs ie braking them. Having had this car for 6 years i'm aware of the problems this car has, so far i've had New catalytic converter even now struggle to get the car through mot over emmission test i've had 2 starter motors new locks and keys all round and car still manage's to lock its self. but my main worry is the starting so would be grateful for any ideas.
