put me details but cant seem to find where it shows the engine code where should i be looking ?

hi peeps Can some one please tell me where i can find the engine code on my o5 plate 150bhp galaxy need to get a drive shaft but need the code first. anyone suggest good place to get a drive shaft and if i remove the splined bolts and then the hub nut will it slide out or do i need to drop the ball joints thanks

hi is the control unit built into the aux heater or is it else where in the car. and its a 05 lol

people beware there is 3 different types of glow plug dont find out the hard way like i did my heater is on wing nuts now its being on and off so many times and still not got the right plug yet waiting on fords

Couple of few questions about this aux heater 1. i got 2 earths 2 constant lives and the live from the temp sesor the last wire i guess is the signal from the ecu, am i right or any one got a wiring digram. where is the best place to get VAG and how much should i pay for it many thanks steve merry xmas to you all

Thanks for that mine is a mk II so link out the sensor wont help much as i still wont fire till i clear the fault codes? bummer guess its stitch up time at my local dealer

hi guys Car heater take hours to get warm and that extra fan boast you get anit there. i have noticed the aux heater is not coming in either i understand thats why heating system is not getting hot. but i cannot find the temp swtich which is said to be attached to the linkage only wiring attached to the wipers other than the motor is for washer jets or i guess it is as thats where it runs to. is it a matter of seeing if i have voltage going to the system and if so the plug is u/s. also i have noticed when lights and screen heaters on the fan speed drops any ideas

Steve, Welcome, so what do you prefer? With a name like yours, i would say your Suzuki GSXR (is it a 600,750 or 1000?) 150bhp Galaxy? So what are they like? That will be my choice as the next car (plus a motorbike!!), when the current one is due for a change. Anyway back to your problem - sounds like the engine mount as gregers says. 1000 k1 the best and the orginal, checked the engine stablizer bar all seems ok, and of course as the noise comes and goes in the garage the noise is not there now, sure it is the dual massfly wheel as i have over 30 caddys in a fleet i look after and ever single one has had one bloody silly idea guess got to wait for it to develop more regards steve
