  1. I have just done the same thing, and it is really simple mate. There are 2 screws holding the plastic cover around the dials. Remove them, and then carefully pull the surround out. There is a screw on each side of the dials themselves, remove them and then tilt the dials forward, and pull one side out so as you can see the back of them. In each of the holes, there is a bulb which you can replace. There are 2 types of bulb, both capless (all glass), one big and one small that fit into the individual holders. They are only something like 50p from your local motor factors. Hope that helps
  2. I have just bought my Galaxy, and as far as I can tell the horn is very poor. It does not emit much sound, and if truth be told sounds terrible ! Is there a double horn on the Galaxy, if so could it be that one of the connections has failed on one ? Or does the horn need replaced ?

  9. The dashboard lights / instrument panel are faulty The rev counter is well lit, but the rest are basically not (speedo, fuel and temp guage, as well as fan controls etc) I have replaced the bulbs, but now all are lit except the lcd (mileage) and they do not turn off, even if the headlights are off ? Also the Fuel light not lighting up When I bought the car today, the needle was just out of the red, and it was a 30 mile trip home, so the needle was well into the red by that time, but the light did not come on. From what I have read on a few threads on here, it should have. This evening I put
  10. Having read through some of the other related threads I ahve a quick question. Basically my galaxy is taking about 5seconds of cranking to start, and a black puff of smoke comes out the exhaust. The engine seems to turn over normally, and I have had the battery and starter tested, and both are ok. Would I be right in assuming that the problem may be the timing ? It starts perfectly throughout the day, and only seems to suffer this problem when left overnight - or long long periods. It will always start, just takes its time in the morning (like most of us )
