I purchaced a 58 1.8 in november (6500 miles on the clock) and had the same symptoms happen a few weeks ago (7000 miles on the clock) Had DMF replaced under warranty and its OK now.. When I went to collect the car after the repair the mechanic also said the clutch has been replaced last may (dont sound to good to me)
