  1. Hi Brian Thank you for replying, don't have the automatic anymore, this one is a manual... The key is definitely coded to the car, He coding another 2 chips just to see and all 3 coded to the car no problem He said it could be a fuse/relay issue, did have an issue with relay 30 with the last Galaxy but that one would start and cut out, the current Galaxy will not start at all, it wont turn over, nothing.. He did a full diagnostic check on the car and its not showing any errors at all. The coil is the aerial one, no issues there wondered if it could be an issue with Relay 167?? Tracy
  2. Hi there wondered if anyone would be able to help, have a 2.3 petrol 2003 Galaxy which was working fine, never a problem on starting. Sunday dropped the key and it came apart, put it back together, went to start the car and nothing, lights on dash were coming on but the engine nothing!! Called out our local mechanic, he could not get it started, he did try to jump the starter motor but it kept cutting out immediately.. Realised yesterday my chip was missing from the key, managed to locate it in the street but still car wont start, called out a locksmith, who programmed a new chip in the key as the other chip was damaged, but still the car will not start.. He has checked all the PATS and they are all ok, the ECU is ok and the ignition coil is ok... Any ideas on what I can try next? Many thanks in advance Tracy
