I have had my X - reg (2000) petrol Mk11 2.3 galaxy for a few years now and the cruise control has never worked. Feeling all keen now and want to see if i can get it working but don't know the best place to start!! I'm sure it has cruise control as controls are on the left hand stalk, however when trying to engage the c,c i get nothing. No light on dash or holding of vehicle speed. Any ideas of where to start would be much appreciated as this is the wifes car most of the time and don't want to be ripping it to pieces without fixing it for her, i'd go hungry :ph34r: . Sorry new to all this! Galaxy is a petrol 2.3 Mk2.

Got my x- reg (2000) galaxy a few years ago and the cruise control has never worked! I'm sure it has cruise control due to the controls on the left hand stalk, however i have played with the controls whilst parked and driving over the trigger speed but nothing!!! Have herd about split pipes which sounds like the first port of call but when switching the c,c on i get nothing not even a display light on dash. Any advice on where to start would be much appreciated. Jon
