I have the same problem and recently it has stayed on for days. I have done an oil n filter change but this has made no difference at all. I am having trouble locating the sensor so any help on where this is would be much appreciated. Also if i do find it or sort the problem I will be sure to post. 2001 Galaxy 1.9 tdi
