hello all, I have a w reg 2.3 zetec automatic and was wondering if it has a cam belt or cam chain it is a mark 1 yr 2000 it only has 40,000 miles on the clock but would like to get the cam belt sorted if i have to, as if its a chain it does not need changing right or wrong???? look forward to your replys thanks Mark

I think its a mark 1 it has no clock on the dash board and the old syle head lights not new clear design its an early year 2000 w reg just before the new shape came out. Cheers Mark

Hi GUYS, I have just tryed to remove the front wheels of my w reg 2.3 zetec (2000) galaxy this is the first time i have tried to remove the wheels since i had the brakes and rotors changed at a ford dealer .i do not do alot of millage in the week ( cycle to work) and this was around 2.5 years ago. I have the type of locking wheel nut that looks like a flower pattern I guess these are fitted at manafacture but as soon as i try and remove the nut the insert just comes out on both wheels under very little pressure all i can presume is that the dealer has refitted the locking wheel nuts using a impact drive and stripped the insert ( i dont belive it ) there are serations on the insert but they are not very promenent Any idea's how i can get these off as i changing my front pads. Hi guy's this is my first post . need to buy some new front pads for my w reg (2000) 2.3 zetec galaxy i have 16" wheels but when trying to purchase the pads the guy asked if i had 1 or 2 brake pad sensors how can i tell this or does anybody no the answer straight away. i have looked in the owners manual but it does not tell me this info.. look forward to your replies Thanks Mark
