thanks guys as i say tho i cant get there till sat to check, i will try and get her to check the chassis plate tho and see if its in this position near the seat. unfortunately dont think its just a clean out job, horrendous whistling and big lack of power!

Hi All, the turbo on my mums 06 galaxy 1.9 TDI has given up the ghost and im planning to fit a new one saturday however until this point i cant get to the vehicle and im having difficulty sourcing a new one i have reg & chassis number however it seems this isnt enough as there are several fitments. i have askd some one for the engine code off of the chassis plate which i believe should be situated in one of the front doors on a black sticker however apparently this isnt there either, does anyone have any tips on how i where i could find this information or how i can identify the correct turbo without this information any help muchly appreciated.
