had the report back from ford they want 2500 to fix it.the steering rack has gone and so has the pcm which im thinking is the ecu. :lol:

no good guys both cat and lambda sensor did not change the emissions they are currently on 0.12.it is going in to ford on tuesday :rolleyes:

the cat was just installed and the garage rang me and told me it was the lambda not the cat so i get it back later and i will let u know how it goes.thank you all for the help.

hi all just a quick question i need a new hinge on the box compartment in the rear of the galaxy but how do i find it what is the part exactly called.thanks a bunch

im going to try the cat and lamda first then everything else because the mot tester said the engine was very good and the car has only done 100000 miles.

hi guys im new to the site and only 2 weeks ago i bought my first galaxy,its a r reg 2.0l petrol.when im driving it seem to have no power i put my foot down but just seems to make noise.it went for a mot on saturday and only failed on emissions.so i ordered a catalytic convertor which im waiting for.am i right thinking this is the problem.i also ordered a lambda sensor.at the moment its doing 2miles to the pound.any advice would be very helpful thanks.
