  1. Are you sure it is a 1999, this would either be a T or V reg, Y was 2001, or was your post a typo Wink
  2. Which ebay seller, sounds interesting?
  3. Torq, I have the same problem, apparently it is to do with wires breaking in the conduit between the car and the door, hence the intermitent operation, just waiting for warmer weather. The fix is to strip the rubber boot back and solder the wires together, I have this to do and a no operational window, but I dont think that is electrical Wink
  4. Hi Kev, Removed false bulkhead yesterday was a bit tight in and out on drivers side, may have been easier to remove the upper scuttle, do you know what holds that in place. Didn't find any plastic bags, maybe someone beat me to it, what would have been in it? Wink
  5. Hi, I may have an issue with the run on pump, theres the paradox it does not run on. It is working with the ignition on, but goes off with ignition so does not run on, Can anyone confirm if this is correct 2005 130tdi Wink
  6. Thanks Mirez, that has really helped put my mind at rest, probably be able to get to the brake fluid better in future aswell!, Just got to sort the pump now, hopefully be able to replace the brushes, rather than the whole pump, but only done 40k so surprised it has failed. Thanks again for your advice, wink
  7. Hi Mirez, Need to get to the Aux coolant pump as very quiet under there, and aux heater is shutting down due to overheat, so need to change the pump Wink
  8. Help, Can anyone describe how to remove the plastic scuttle cover that sits at the botton of the windscreen, Having accidently cracked a focus windscreen removing that one, I don't want to repeat it on the GAL. Obviously the wiper arms need removing but how is the cover fixed and what tools are required to remove it 2005 ghia 130tdi Thanks Wink
  9. Mine is the same, fairly sure is caused by Alternator freewheel pulley, anyhow about to change as it is very stiff rotation when should be easy
