Hi All Just picked up my 2008 (58) Ford Galaxy - which has the DVD Touch screen Sat Nav system incorporating a USB and line Jack socket in the glove box. I can connect and play both my Ipod Touch & Classic 80GB through the line Jack - obviously controlling it on the Ipod itself. And it sounds ok. However when connecting either Ipod to the USB socket I get the full interface on the car Sat Nav screen, showing which track is playing, I can browse, etc as normal but I get no sound whatsoever. Now I am using the Ipod to USB cable that I use to connect the ipod to my laptop - I am assuming this cable does not carry sound, so I need a specific cable. Am I right?
