  1. Hi Well not the most fun day in the Galaxy today as it broke down 30 miles from home, although AA relay have recovered the car I potentially await bad news in the morning from the garage. The car suddenly died at approx 50 mph on a busy dual carriage way with a smell of burning plastic. Fortunately it happened right beside a small lay by so could of been worse. Upon inspection one of the COP's has melted and popped up from the cylinder head recess there was very little left an the AA were unable to get down to the plug as the main body was none existent and there was too much residue I would ask kindly if this has ever happened or if anyone has experienced this. I fear this is going to be a costly repair but would seek any forthcoming advice to prepare myself. Many thanks for looking j
  2. Howdy Im trying to remove the plugs but cannot get the coil pack off. Is there a tool for doing this please, or is it just the clip and a matter of force. Or is it possible to pull the coil pack off without removing the top wires. Kind regards Jonny f
  3. Hello Ive recently purchased a 2001 galaxy and upon changing gear and releasing the clutch i get a couple of clunks when the the clutch is engaged. This only happens on quick shifts and the nose appears to be gone with really smooth gear changes. Does the engine have to come out to change the clutch if this is neccassary. I also am now concerened after reading forums about the timing chains as the veichle has just turened 80k. Is this an expensive job to does the enging have to come out it it needs done at all. any advice greatly received Many thanks Jonny
