Hi, I have a 54 plate petrol galaxy 2.8 v6 ghia. We have had it nearly 4 years with no problems starting it til now! It starts but immediately dies before you can blip the accelerator, it can do this up to 8 times then will start and runs fine. It has had new plugs supplied by ford garage, and oil and filter change with flush out - which seemed to help in that it didnt do it for 2 days but now today problem started all over again! Other thing I should mention is that it has had electrical problems it needed brakes and disks recently and when the garage replaced them the warning on the dash wouldnt erase so it went to the ford dealer who fitted new wiring loom - since then it once freaked out the abs handbrake and esp light came on and when I braked the petrol zeroed out and petrol warning light came on......this was checked out and they said there was an earthing problem, which earth couldnt be ascertained....was told to wait til it showed itself ie lights blew!!! So I think thats everything!! Any ideas anyone, why will my trusty turbo charged bus not start???? Thanks for your help.
