Hi All I'm having a very similar problem wih my 1997 galaxy. Its the 2.8 v6 auto 4x4 and the problem sounds exactly the same as the original poster. Runs fine when 1st starting up but once warm cuts out at roundabouts, junctions and traffic lights. Obviously very annoying as its an auto and will only start in either neutral or park!!! Was this thread ever closed with a solution? Hoping it doesnt cost me too much to put right so any help will be greatly appreciated Neil

Hi I had a 1996 2.0 glx that did the very same thing. Turned out the chain had snapped. No warning noises or anything. Just wham! Hope this isnt the case with yours.
