  1. hi, thanks everyone, you have saved me loads of money. i checked all the door looms and there were broken wires in all of them, the rear passenger side was the worst with only a few wires actually complete. because of the number of wires involved we got someone to do it for us but it has still made a massive saving compared to having to buy a new CJB like ford wanted us to. And so far everything is fine. in future i will be on here first with any problems before going to the garage. it appears we neednt have taken it in for a diagnostics either but you live and learn. Many thanks again for solving the problem and saving me some of hubbys hard earned dosh.

  3. Hi, im new on here and have been looking through old posts but have yet to find the help i need so im hoping someone can help with my problem. I have a 2002 1.9tdi 115ps galaxy ghia diesel. it has started having some electrical gremlins. nearside rear window sometimes doesnt work, when you lock the car from the inside it just unlocks straight away by itself, the windows will sometimes go up by themselves but the main problem is that the hazards start flashing on their own. its not even a rhythmical flash but a mind of its own flash. some days it wont happen, some days only a few times and other days constantly. i have had an independant electrician out who checked wires, relays etc, replaced a few broken wires and traced the fault back to the multifunction control unit. then told me to take it to ford for a diagnostics test. i took it to ford and
