  1. The only problem with that is il be stuck with a seat! Also I'm not sure il get one cheaper than just the foam from ford ?
  2. I repaired mine by simply replacing the carbon brushes inside the pump, they wear out after i think x amount of miles! They can be replaced but you need to source the brushes from somewhere like ebay and file them to the correct size to fit. it isnt to difficult a job and if you decide to do it i will try to give you some more tips.
  3. Hi, I have a mk2 Gal and need to replace the foam in the drivers seat. Ford want 90 quid including vat and VW want 70 inc vat. are the seats in the gal mk2 the same as in a Sharan? Any help would be most appreciated!! Ta Shaun
  4. Got it! makes sense really thanks for your help il try it tomorrow!
  5. Hi There i have a 2000 mk1 focus zetec, we recently lost our remote key somewhere so we had to call out a locksmith! after spending loads of money we now have 2 new keys, 1 remote and one standard! Last week we found the lost key so i decided to reprogramme it and put it to use! i put a new battery in it first and then did the 1st key, 2nd key, 3rd key trick which worked, so i now i have 3 working keys woohoo! the problem is when i tried to programme the key to be able to use the remote locking it worked but then the 1st key stopped working?? so i reprogrammed the 1st key and it worked and then the 2nd key stopped working??? basically i cant get both remote keys to work at the same time (not literally the same time, you know what i mean). Im stumped can anyone please help :)
  6. Hi All, has anyone got a mk2 analogue clock going begging? im willing to give a few quid for it. I have a Y reg which is a realy early mk2 and the clock has a 509 bulb in the centre! im after a newer model clock as these were fitted with smd's as opposed to the 509 bulb! Ive changed all the bulbs in my dash to either blue led's or smd's but im stuck on the clock! Please help
  7. I have exactly the same problem! works fine when its cold out but only intermittently when its to warm, usually above 70 degrees, im thinking it could be too much gas like yourself but not sure how to release some gas safely? i had it regassed last week and took it back the next day as it wasnt working correctly, they said it was working fine (typical the weather was chilli) and they found no leaks or faults, but its still playing up. How is it done? do i open up the left or right if im facing the engine bay?
