  3. Will do a.s.a.p. my brackets are made of ally not sure why as i thouhgt steel would be stronger . the bracket for the front goes from the step to the chassis where thier are holes already. the rear bolts on to the sub frame. i could go into more detail but it may get a bit boring . was a bit fiddly but proper job.

  5. Every thing you say makes sence .the 2 sensors you have mentioned are they next to and slightly to the right of the temp senor . Im amazed that many people have had this proplem but nobody can pin point why it happens . I will keep trying hopefully without spending to much .Thanks for your very helpfull reply .
  6. Thanks for your replys. i will look into the starter solenoid ,does any one know if this can be changed or will it have to be the whole starter motor replaced . Its not the worst proplem to have but i would rather it sorted as it is the only problem on the galaxy. i need to find out where the four wires go to that come of the temp switch but have not got a clue how to read the wiring guide in the manual
  7. i have a galay 1.9 tdi t reg with just over 100000 miles on the clock. from cold the car starts first time every time and runs perfect all the time. but after a run and when the engine is still hot the car turns over at least a dozen times before starting .trial and error i found that if i unplug the temp switch on the engine it starts first time when hot . but plug it back in and the problem is back . i have changed the temp switch in the engine and other than showing the engine is running a bit hotter with the new switch the proplem is still thier. The car has been on ford dio but shows nothing .their are four wires coming from the temp switch which i suspect one of them could lead to the proplem but i may be wrong . Can you help please
